Where did the idea come from?
For many years, knowledge of Kazakh cuisine and traditions were gradually lost among young people. The lack of high-quality offers on the market of ethno-restaurants of national cuisine led to the fact that Kazakh national dishes were outside the rating of The Best Traditional Food in the World. In response to this challenge, the Sandyq restaurant was opened.
Preservation and transfer of the heritage of steppe cuisine through the recreation of lost recipes, training in cooking healthy dishes and the creation of an international network of ethno-cafes to convey the national code to future generations.
Our goal is Promotion of Kazakh traditions through unique dishes and cultural heritage items, including the project of the national restaurant Sandyq.
